Scott Matula, AIA, is a licensed architect and founder of Aspire Architecture & Design, LLC, a full service architecture and design firm which interests include historical renovation, residential architecture, restaurant design, and sustainable design. Scott is highly experienced in a variety of creative architectural design and building codes. He has gained notoriety within the community, as well as, around Wisconsin. Prior to starting Aspire, Scott worked at LJM Architects where he specialized in 100’s of projects dealing with historic preservation projects, residential buildings, and business renovations. Scott also worked for Stubenrauch Architects, specializing in school architecture design. At KBAER Design Center; Scott specialized in modern kitchen and bath design, designing unique but highly functional and efficient designs. At Jacoby Builders, Scott worked on designing high end residential additions, creating designs to suit his clients needs and likes. In addition, Scott has worked in the motion picture industry. He was a set designer for Public Enemies in 2009 creating historical building sets of city streets and businesses. Scott has also worked with design sets with independent film producers. Scott brings creativity and experience to all projects.
Scott was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and attended Aurora University prior to graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture. Scott has lived in Sheboygan since 1992. Scott seeks architecture design and inspiration by traveling the world. He is inspired to work abroad, bringing new ideas and concepts to building design. When not working, Scott enjoys, photography, cooking, biking, hiking, camping, traveling, water, downhill, and cross-country skiing, running marathons, and scuba diving.
